Sky Metals is advancing toward low-cost tin production to meet the accelerating global demand for tin—an essential metal in semiconductors, electronics, solar PV, and electric vehicles. With supply disruptions and few reliable, ethical sources of tin, SKY offers a rare ASX-listed opportunity to gain exposure to this critical and increasingly strategic commodity.
SKY’s flagship Tallebung Tin Project in central western NSW is a near-term, open-pit development located at a historic tin field first discovered in the 1890s. The company is defining a large-scale hardrock resource, with recent drilling uncovering high-grade tin and silver zones and demonstrating exceptional metallurgical performance across the deposit. The shallow geometry and cassiterite-hosted mineralisation make Tallebung ideally suited to low-cost mining and processing, including advanced XRT ore sorting that upgrades tin grades by up to 44x, followed by gravity separation to produce a saleable concentrate.
Management Profile:
Oliver Davies - Managing Director Mr Davies joined SKY as a geologist in 2019. He was appointed to Exploration Manager in 2021, then to CEO in early 2022 and subsequently to Managing Director in September 2024. Prior to SKY, Mr Davies was in exploration and operational roles with Evolution Mining and Alkane Resources in NSW and Qld. Mr Davies has worked closely on several successful NSW discoveries including Evolution Mining’s significant expansion of the Lake Cowal gold resource and with Alkane’s regional exploration success at Tomingley and Boda.

12 Months
Improve on project metrics and quickly advance project approvals towards production.
What do you see as the key risks and challenges facing your company at the moment and how are you overcoming these?
Environmental and mining approvals will need to be secured, however, the large pre-existing disturbance from the historic mining as well as SKY's proactive approach in already completing much of the baseline environmental data to submit mining applications.
What do you think makes your company such a compelling investment?
Exposure to low-cost, near-term tin production in a stable jurisdiction with large tin deposits also in the SKY portfolio showing potential for decades of tin production.
