Western Gold Resources (ASX:WGR) is a near-term Western Australian gold producer advancing its 100%-owned Gold Duke Project in the Wiluna region. The project hosts a JORC 2012 Mineral Resource of 214koz @ 2.1g/t Au, with mining approvals and a toll milling agreement in place with the nearby Wiluna Processing Plant. First gold is targeted for late 2025 / early 2026 and recent studies points to a capital-light, near-term cash generator of undiscounted cash surplus of A$56.1M at A$4,500/oz (after all working capital and pre-mining capital), rising to A$97.3M at A$5,500/oz.
